Finally!The Strip Planked Decking is on.

Looking Forward through Bulhead #2.

October 13th 2004

The Center Section of the Cabin will be cut to shape
Later, I want it there for Strength right now while
I am Hammering and Drilling etc.

I messed up the first batch of Photos in this section so I
put on My Slippers,Took My Digital Camera out to the Shed and Re-Shot
Them. {It's COOOOLD out there!}
I am now working on the cabin. Not looking forward to building the
Sliding Hatch though, Never built one before, Hopefully it is not as
hard to buiild as it looks. I was a little leary of using Pine or Fir for the Strip Planks but then
I was thinking, They use "Balsa" for "Core" material, I'm sure Pine or Fir
is a lot stronger than Balsa, I don't know about Rot Resistance? But if it is
all Encapsulated in Epoxy--Rot wouldn't hardly have a chance.

Sliding Glass Window "Test Fit".

I cut this Sliding Glass Window out of a Window that
I removed from My 1988 Dodge Van. It had a big window on top.
I have two of them so I will have one for each side of the Cabin.
